Veronica chamaedrys - The germander speedwell
I noticed this one while I was sitting in the grass on a warm afternoon. It’s so tiny that I didn’t spot it at first, but then realised I was surrounded by these miniature little flowers.
Though delicate in appearance, it is a resilient plant that spreads quietly through creeping stems and returns each spring in patches of vivid blue.
